Desired Candidate Profile:

Requirements:

• Masters in Technology / Science in Operations Research / Mathematics from IIT or IISc
• Ideal candidate should have 1 to 2 years relevant experience in executing the Operations Research related projects in the past; however, fresh graduates are also considered.
• Experience in utilizing operations research application development tools such as CPLEX, FortMP, and FortSP and hands-on programming experience with optimization modeling languages such as AMPL is a plus.
• Excellent communications skills with respect to translating business needs into a mathematical/data analytical approach and translating analysis results back into business terms.
• In addition to technology competence the ideal candidate will have some business acumen and an understanding of potential client’s technical and business requirements.
• Ability to synthesize and clearly communicate highly complex findings that focus on the critical issues and provide actionable opportunities. Demonstrate outstanding critical thinking skills
• Required to travel to client sites as and when needed

Job Description:

• Work with the clients to understand the business requirements, document it, propose a solution, come-up with a prototype, and manage the development team to develop and deliver the solution.
• Interact with the core research team in UK to identify the best possible solution.
• Work with the top management in business development strategies.
• Work with the marketing team in requirement analysis and proposal preparation.
